In a large skillet, saute carrots for 4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in garlic and saute for 1 minute. Add water, thyme, pepper and salt; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 8 to 10 minutes or until carrots are tender.
